Reflection

Jewellery to me is expression. It is a way to quietly show the world who you are and how you wish to present yourself.

As I was making the new collection I kept asking myself why I was so drawn to creating faces.
What is it about faces and patterns that is so appealing to me?
I think what it really comes down to is human connection.
Humans need other people to survive, to feel safe and more often than not rightly or wrongly to feel valued.

We look to others in times of happiness and grief, we often see faces and patterns in inanimate objects to source a connection and kinship with them.


Humans are complex and often hide the mental and physical weights that life has handed them.
People, bodies and of course faces are and always will be facinating, especially the secrets they keep locked behind a smile.
